We're back and wow - what a break. For those of you who don't know Everest Rocks, rocked. You can check out all the great videos and pics from this amazing trek here.
What an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience - special thanks to our partners in rock Love Hope Strength and shouts out to James, Mike and Shannon for making it all happen.
We'll look forward to working closely with LHS in the future to bring more awareness to cancer issues and expand our offering here at Prepare to Live as well.
In the meantime, don't forget this month is "Movember" So let your Mo grow!

Namaste from Nepal!
Things are going to be a little bit slow at P2L while I'm over here in Nepal. My main focus right now is to do some day hiking (and some meditation at great temples!) while getting ready for our trek to Everest Base Camp. This trek is being done to help raise awareness of Young Adult cancer issues and was organized by our friends at the Love Hope Strength Foundation.
I hope to continue to report from the hill as it were on the Everest Blog. One highlight should be what the Guinness Book of World Records will list as the "world's highest rock concert." This is very different than the record I set ages ago for world's highest at a rock concert. Where was Guinness then?
I'd like to extend a personal thanks to all the sponsors and contributors who made it possible for me to be here, especially the wonderful crew at Novartis who continue to support our cause. Thank you.

We are pleased to announce social networking/bookmarks, tell a friend and RSS links on our homepage. These tools make it even easier to stay abreast of the latest Prepare to Live news and let newly diagnosed friends know about our organization.
We also have a brand spanking new mySpace page (www.myspace.com/preparetolive). Please help Young Adults coping with cancer find our valuable resource by linking to us and adding us as a friend.
Also new is our Member Films section - anything goes, so start sending in your vids!
In October 2007 Eran Thomson, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Prepare to Live, in conjunction with the Love, Hope, Strength Foundation will climb Mt. Everest to raise awareness and funds for Young Adults coping with cancer. This event will be filmed by MTV and The BBC’s acclaimed documentary team and presents a tremendous and unique media opportunity for any interested sponsors.
As proud an achievement as this climb will be, the harder challenge may be raising the $25,000 needed to go. Please make an online donation now and make this mission a complete success.Your contribution will go towards raising awareness of Young Adult cancer issues though both Prepare to Live and LHSF as well as offset the associated costs of this once-in-a-lifetime undertaking.

Other ways you can support P2L incude making an online donation, sponsoring us, buying all your books through our Amazon Bookshop portal and of course, spreading the word.
We have formed an amazing new alliance with Love, Hope, Strength who are rocking for our shared cause - to raise awareness (and money) for Young Adult cancer issues and help provide support and resources to those in need. Look for more exciting concerts, events and cool stuff to come out of this partnership very soon.

What's new? Well for starters, in order to help spread the word about Prepare to Live we've recently set up our own mySpace page. If you haven't added us as a "friend" on your mySpace page yet, please do it now!
We've also added a Digg link to our homepage to help us get noticed out there, so take a moment and Digg Us!
What else? We recently got word that Keith Butler from Proskauer Rose will be joining the Prepare to Live legal team. Welcome Keith!
New Videos have been posted and Buddy Search continues to evolve behind the scenes. Look for a beta version of this valuable tool to go live in the coming months.

Welcome to double-oh-seven, a great year to be more James Bond and live daringly.
There is a feeling around here that this is going to be a fantastic year for the Prepare to Live community, and we’re off to a great start; People are spreading the word, Sponsors are coming on board, Buddy Search is under construction and the Lance Armstrong Foundation has officially given Prepare to Live the “thumbs up” and made us a charter member of their LiveSTRONG Young Adult Alliance.
So whether you’re a long time member of Prepare to Live, recently joined or thinking about joining, I welcome you to another great year to be, to do…to live.
And in the meantime, if your efforts to be a bit more Bond-esque put the bad guy (Mr. C) in his place, we got your back until our (re)mission is accomplished - and beyond.
