Happy Halloween! There have been some very cool (and not so spooky) developments here at Prepare to Live lately.
Now you can easily Share Your Story and Register for Buddy Search online. Very special thanks to Jazuli Henderson-Smart at Zuli Interactive for all her long hours spent staring at code and creating our forms.
Also, our first print advertisement is now running in Refill Magazine (issue #5). Space in the creative art and design showcase was generously donated by Luca Ionescu, co-founder of Refill. The ad was created by the Notice Creativity Corp. (Sydney) in conjunction with Prepare to Live's Design Director, Amy Nadaskay.
Also, if you live in Australia, this month kicks off Movember, a fantastic fundraising concept for Prostate Cancer. Please register and grow a "Mo."
Finally, as always, we are actively seeking potential sponsors and volunteers to help grow and develop our organization. If youd like to get involved please get in touch.

Friends in Hawaii recently forwarded us a copy of their local Makai Magazine (May, June 2005) which feature a two-part article/interview with Sheldon Plentovich who also stars in the first Prepare to Live feature film. You can download the article here as a PDF as well as, from the RESOURCES section of this site.

Hello, Thanks for checking back with us, or if this is your first time here
Welcome.
Below, please meet a few of our Advisory Board members and Volunteers who recently met in Los Angeles for an impromptu luncheon. They are from left to right: Eran Thomson, Co-Founder/Executive Director; Richard Farmer, Film Advisor; Kirk Souder (the man responsible for naming our organization); Barbara Boster, Production Mastermind; Nicholas Erasmus, Film Editor; Michael Gresch, Terminal Media and Ryan Nord, Legal Advisor.

There is a lot of momentum behind Prepare to Live right now
We recently received our official recognition as a US and CA 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization (and hope to soon in Australia and the UK). This is great news as it not only means we are "legit," but also that services, donations, sponsorships, bequests etc. are all now tax-deductible as allowed by law.
It also means we have now started the process of speaking with other like-minded organizations and brands about coming on board as official sponsors. So if you, or someone you know would like to get more involved, please see the sponsorship or donate sections of this temporary site or send us an email.
Speaking of this temporary site, our new website with all its amazing community building and information sharing features has been fully mapped out. All we need now is the money and people to help get it built. So again, if you know anyone
One development you can expect to see here on this temporary site very soon is the first of many forums where patients and caregivers alike can find each other and share resources and lifesaving information. Keep checking back.
In other news, the trailer for our first film is nearly complete! Well post it on this site as soon as its done for you all to see. And as always, if you or someone you know is willing to appear in a film, let us know.
If you havent already gotten your very own P2L T-shirt get one now.
And finally, send us an email if youd like to be notified of upcoming P2L events and developments.

Welcome. It is a new year for Prepare to Live and there is loads of good stuff in store including P2L T-SHIRTS!
NEW ADDITIONS TO THE P2L TEAM:
Barbara Boster, a Stage-2 breast cancer survivor, joins us as an absolute Production Mastermind. She has been instrumental in helping us get our first film underway and her ability to make things happen is immeasurable. "Aunty Babs" is a true champion and cheerleader for P2L and we are lucky to have her.
Ryan Nord, joins us as a Legal Advisor, formerly with Latham & Watkins LLP, one of our founding sponsors, Ryan has since moved on, but his involvement with p2L continues. He is pleased to inform us that there is a lot of legal work involved in making films and he looks forward to spending as much time as possible on "location."
Learn more about these two recent volunteers along with the rest of our Advisory Board here.
We are also pleased to announce the two newest professional sponsors of P2L; Iowa and Terminal Media. They have been incredibly generous with their time, energy, creativity and equipment and thanks to them we hope to have the trailer for our first film finished Q1 2005. Keep checking back to see it. Special thanks to Mitch Bassett, Bill Sewell, Michael Gresch and Nicholas Erasmus
MOVING AHEAD:
Looking forward into early 2005 we expect to receive our official 501c3 tax-exempt status, begin fundraising on a larger scale and secure corporate sponsorships, release the trailer for our first film and launch a completely new website.
So keep checking back or register to be notified of updates.
